It's good instrumentally, but Cornell's voice is clearly getting weaker with age. I'm not surprised, just a little disappointed.

It was ok, but lacks a bit of the punch I expect from the band. Just sounded a bit watered down

I thought that it dragged a bit and yeah I prefer the production on their older albums much more, especially for the drums.

Then again like most of King Animal, it's not bad per se, it's just that they can do so much better with that sound.

"Cornell carries it completely."

Matt Cameron and Kim Thayil are amazing in my opinion

Check Down on the Upside, it's guitar is flashier in a good way.

It's such a tough call, but I think the title track is one of the best songs ever written, so I gotta go with it.

I feel like I like those slow, heavy, epic Soundgarden songs the most.

Favorite on Badmotorfinger = "Holy Water" ("Slaves & Bulldozers" is my second favorite)

Favorite on Superunknown = "Limo Wreck"

Favorite on Down on the Upside = "Tighter & Tighter" (Also my favorite Soundgarden song

ever)

Favorite on King Animal = "Rowing"

Don't care that much for KA tbh, but to each their own.

There are 5 songs after "The Day I Tried to Live" and all of them except for "Half" rule.

Even Half has that sick bass solo at the end.

4th of July and Fresh Tendrils are some of the album's best songs.
