It's a contender. I say that about like 200 different songs every time I hear them though.

1000 songs can fight for #2, but nothing touches Baba O'riley.

Baba just has an atmosphere that few songs if any can match

I'm listening to the Dead's version of Me & Bobby McGee right now, sounding like the greatest song ever right now. I'll listen to Baba O'Riley next for comparison.

Baba is definitely one of the top 10, maybe even top 5 rock songs but after that is has to compete with Stairway, Bohemian Rhapsody and others. Not that I myself can actually choose between them once we're talking that calibre of song.

This is one of those albums I have always loved but still need to physically own. One of the best classic rock records ever.

Nah Tommy is too bloated. Quadrophenia is good but this just has better songs. I think I'll try to find this at my record store today, it's sort of inexcusable that I don't have it on my bedroom shelf considering how much I adore it.

For me, if you threw out Love Ain't for Keeping and replace it with Join Together it'd be perfect.

Hahaha Kill!

I just bought it and am reminiscing hard. I may (and most likely will) review it when I get the time. I still need to write something for Titus Andronicus though so that takes priority #1.
