The Abbey Road medley is basically perfect, but so is this.

@Paranoid Those songs are good though I would rather switch to Jimi Hendrix or The Doors at that point. The part I highly dislike is the triple run of Maxwell, Oh Darling, and Octopus's Garden. Also, the whole section in the medley from Mr Mustard to She Came In could be cut and I wouldn't mind.

I think this is solidly stronger than any single Beatles record. The Beatles were far more consistent artistically of course, but there's always one or two crap/whatever songs on a Beatles album, even Abbey and Revolver. This is all killer no filler

@friday I Want You is sooo doomy though, and that quality is hard to find in something like the Doors or Hendrix. Come Together is in a similar vein as The Doors and Hendrix agreed, but the baseline is golden.

and I think all parts of the medley are memorable and extremely entertaining, I just love the hell out of every second of that section of the album

While I do agree that this is stronger than any Beatles album, I'd have to take the White album over this simply because HELTER SKELTER

That's what I love about it, it's a wild ride that's inconsistent but never boring

Also Helter Skelter

I've heard that argument many a time, but that doesn't do it for me. Yeah, it's never boring, but I don't see how people can give it perfect ratings while accepting that there are filler tracks on it. But to each his own.

And yeah, Helter Skelter is one of the best things ever.

I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS

The Kinks rule probs better than The Rolling Stones. Check Village Green, but it's actually some of their early singles that are the most impressive thing about them.
