Saying this, I've only listened to it once. I'll play it a few more times but it's sitting at a 2.5 for me now. =)

don't expect Hospice² and you'll be fine, I guess.. the last track is probably the closest thing to the previous album (and it is also my favourite song, so far)

Don't expect good songs like Two and Bear that jump out at you.

This is a very quiet album that will require numerous listens.

On the bright side, Burst Apart doesn't come with any sinking, I want to sit in the corner and die inside, emotions either.

Yeah but I felt very little when listening to Burst Apart. I'd rather feel sad then nothing at all.

Not only does every song follow the same sound of guitars drenched in effects with falsetto vocals but the lyricism has been stripped down to irrelevant.

i'm only 3 songs in right now and it's pretty great. not as good as hospice but still awesome

aren't the live recordings. ha ha
