A tad "meh" for me actually...

but Putting The Dog To Sleep is one hell of a song. I don't know, this is the Antlers, I'll give it about 25 more listens tomorrow. lol

I'm not. =/
None of these tracks can compare to anything on Hospice.

Saying this, I've only listened to it once. I'll play it a few more times but it's sitting at a 2.5 for me now. =)

For me, it lacked hooks and it all kind of blends in to itself. =/

shit cannot wait to be done with this linear algebra final so I can listen to Burst apart.

I'll keep some low expectations.

don't expect Hospice² and you'll be fine, I guess.. the last track is probably the closest thing to the previous album (and it is also my favourite song, so far)

Don't expect good songs like Two and Bear that jump out at you.

This is a very quiet album that will require numerous listens.

On the bright side, Burst Apart doesn't come with any sinking, I want to sit in the corner and die inside, emotions either.

Yeah but I felt very little when listening to Burst Apart. I'd rather feel sad then nothing at all.

Matured or become utterly boring old men? =)
Not only does every song follow the same sound of guitars drenched in effects with falsetto vocals but the lyricism has been stripped down to irrelevant.

I've listened to Burst Apart twice now and I don't remember anything from it. It's so forgetful. =/
Utterly disappointed.

So I just had the most amazing 2nd listen to Burst Apart. Really opened up to me once I got past the fact that these

aren't the live recordings. ha ha
