Been getting really into the deep cuts in the back half lately (especially "Pleasure and Pain" and "Paper Tigers"). Album is inching towards a 5...
I'm out on the edge, but I'm not defeated yet
I hear my name above everything else
"Mark! Mark!" above everything else
Don't fall!

This album really has some of the craziest and most gorgeous guitar tones of all time.

just 5 it, its the greatest rock album of all time (probably)

Only thing holding me back is that I still don’t quite love “Thursday’s Child” and “As High As You Can Go”, drop one or both of those (or even resequence so they’re not right next to each other) and it’d be an easy 5. But this also has at least 6 perfect songs so I’m really nitpicking here.

wouldn’t call it an EP, just 2 new songs. very skippable, I’m afraid

Apparently it’s a teaser for a new album coming later this year that will feature “Where Are You?” so you could def argue it’s a glorified single but there are 3 songs on it so def counts as an EP, even if “Endlessly Falling” (probably the best one there too) isn’t “new” per se. Can’t say it’s leaving me too eager for more new material but it’s perfectly fine, I’ll take it.

I knew these guys were on tour recently, but had no idea they were also putting out new stuff.

it just sounds very generic, could be any lame band you know?

The new EP is so bland, not worth listening to

No bump since June?
There must be something wrong boys
Caught Mark and Reg on the UK tour last week, still got it in their 60s. Mark's ad libbing (?) during Soul in Isolation and Second Skin to bring in Eleanor Rigby, There is a Light that Never Goes Out, and Be My Wife was great
Where Are You? is of course not their best work by any stretch of the imagination (though the bridge goes pretty hard) but I'm just happy to see them still enjoying playing for audiences
