more people should listen to the lesser known songs on american idiot, like st. jimmy and homecoming. in my opinion, those are the best two songs on the album
Wasn't St. Jimmy a single and on TRL though? I don't really like either of those songs, though some parts of Homecoming are great.
Something about having broad tastes
Shut up.
The Descendents, Buzzcocks and Generation X weren't very pop-punk I don't think
The last words explained that one.
Compared to the scene around them, they were a much poppier form of punk and also with lyrics, for the most part, less political and serious. Obviously, the sound will change a bit with time, but they were very much types of pop punk bands. This Message Edited On 10.17.06

I've seen you make that argument plenty of times. It's not that big a deal, so shut up.
PS one time mine went from Killing in the Name by RATM to a rapping french baby. I'm not gonna say that's broad like our friend zepdude, I just think it's humorus.

Next to Dookie, amirite? Unlike many, I actually think Nimrod is definitely their best.

Yes,to this date i still think that this album is the most over-rated album ever

It's only rated a 3.1 on here.
My vote for most over-rated album would probably be AC/DC's entire career.

My vote would go to Master of Puppets.
The sad thing is that it's almost 2007, and people still cry and bitch about tihs album despite the fact that they never read the lyrics, and only heard the singles.

I whole-heartedly wish that Green Day would dissappear off the face of the earth, never to return.

While you're at it, you may as well let The Power What Is know that you'd like a pony.
