I dont think any Opeth albums are boring. They are all epic as hell though.

Weeeell...
The damnation/deliverance combo actually feels kind of lazy to me. And yeah, this bores me on the whole. I probably just haven't listened to it enough, who knows.
Actually the only Opeth albums I can listen to front to back and enjoy every minute of are Still Life and My Arms...go figure. This Message Edited On 04.05.08

Deliverance can be kinda boring, but A Fair Judgment is amazing. One of my favorite songs of theirs. It seems to be a song that you either hate or love, though.

MAYH is by far their most unique album yet, as nothing they have done before or since has sounded anything like it.

Still Life has a lot of jazz runs in it, that's why I think it's the best.

I still like individual songs off of both Still Life and MAYH more than just about every song on this, but this is still works the best as an album.

title track is my favorite opeth song of all time.

the last five minutes of BWP are the most intense 5 minutes in music ever.
slowly building up until Akerfeldt bellows "The sun sets forever, over blackwater park"
i splooge every time i hear that

My favorite Opeth song is probably April Ethereal or When.
|

Another of Opeths masterpieces Bleak and Blackwater park are my favorite songs on here. Reminds a bit of the album Ackerfeldt did for Bloodbath.
