Actually, side 3 of the vinyl is my favorite of them, if not my favorite moment in music history. Although, I could see how someone would think that the fourth side isn't as enjoyable, and yes, rather silly in some people's eyes, I just can't see this. A longer, more raw version of In The Flesh, Run Like Hell, Waiting for the Worms. All excellent songs, IMO.

I like In The Flesh and Run Like Hell. Waiting for the Worms is ok in some parts, but that's when it starts to get dumb imo. then the last three songs....wow. just turned the whole thing into a joke imo.
I can't listen to the Trial anymore. I could a few times, but it's awful. I can't sit through it. On the occasion that I listen to a little bit of it, I laugh, and then skip the rest. the last 3-4 tracks really kills the mood for me. It's a good concept, but in the last few tracks it's horribly, horribly executed imo. Really detracts from the rest of the album, because the rest of it is good/great.
all this being said, Nobody Home is completely brilliant, and is one of my favorite songs of all time. Same for One of My Turns.

Wish You Were Here = ANIMALS > Darkside of the Moon > (first and last tracks of Meddle) > The Wall = The Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
All of those albums are sweet though.
Just got back from the Roger Waters presents "The Wall" tour.
One hell of a show.
