Oh that song is so good, and a perfect match for the show. Just checked, that's the episode where that remix of read my mind was featured, so cool

Listened to this again two days ago and it’s a fucking 5. It’s so intricate in how they use textures and they basically established a new foundation for post rock in the best way. It’s so whimsical and innocent that it makes me feel that way.

I just cant listen to this without thinking of cheesy dramas about a friend passing away. Like My Sister's Keeper or something.
|

Yeah it's super cheesy

For this brand of post-rock it's really innovative and pretty much perfectly well done. Lots of similar sounding albums were made in the mid 2000s and later.

"For this brand of post-rock it's really innovative " They literally created this brand of post-rock, so yeah.
|

lol title of first track kinda pisses me off

This is probs the only Explosions album worth giving a damn about

These guys and And So I Watch You From Afar are the most overrated post-rock bands in existence.
|
| |
Nah, EINS deserve a mention for their influence at least.
|

A year late but FNL is my all time favorite show and I just recently started my yearly re-viewing
Still an 11/10, and Explosions’ soundtrack is unbelievable

That intro song got so incredibly fucking annoying after binging that show. Enjoyed the show but... whose fkn idea was a post rock song for intro theme... shame... shame to all their houses
