That shift in Like Music to pure horror gets me every time.

What Happened? is probably their most gorgeous song, the strings are incredible.

those strings on What Happened just pulled my heart and those horns on Solitude are just... too much.

that part in the t/t, where the higher voice says ''SIIIIIIILEEEEENCEE'' and all the instrumentation stops momentarily... I kinda imagine a tall barren brown mountain, amidst a vast desert, in a sick, dusty, orangey atmosphere (similar to the cover art) and sth inside me loses it for a while. I can't put my finger on it now, but it creeps me out.

There are a few noticeable shifts in tone like that throughout that just add to the brilliance of the whole thing.

For me this grew exponentially with each listen, didn't exactly know what to make of it when I first heard it years ago.

Actually, I've been listening to it since 2010, but while I adored the first half, I never actually delved into the second half. Now that I'm in an Ulver phase and spin this all day long, I think I might give it the rating it deserves.

There're really no wasted moments on here. It is only 38 minutes long though.
