Sleeping Dogs was actually called Meshuggah first, for obvious reasons. Had they downtuned or used 7/8 strings, this might have been a direct precursor to Tesseract et cetera

Hmmm idk, i think Oceansize was at their best in the quiet moments, Sleeping Dogs is a fantastic track that goes all the way with their metal side. But i do go back much more often to the songs with this hazy, disappointed-but-not-hopeless vibe that they do so expertly, like Meredith, Catalyst, You Wish
