Just played “Hole In The Earth” at a bar’s Guitar Hero arcade machine.

So apparently the reason they are popular with the kiddos these days is tik tok. I probably should have guessed that

Their influence carried enough over the years honestly to warrant that

I'm definitely cool with it. Nice to talk tones with the next generation

It's a nice break from that shitty "let me do it for you" song

i've never felt as cool and interesting as when i've told people i saw deftones three times pre-covid and they unironically react like i saw nirvana before nevermind.

interesting phenomena where some tiktokers act like the music didn't exist/wasn't popular until they heard it on tiktok lol

never understood how massive bands of 20-30 years ago are just now getting unearthed by this new generation considering the accessibility of the internet. is it because of the parents? older siblings? were we just lucky?

i guess 80s music wasn’t as popular back when i was in high school but we def had a lot of those stinky barefoot hippies, and everybody knew who shit like metallica and the cure were regardless if they listened to them

I'd be shocked if I found someone here who saw Nirvana live before Nevermind dropped

While we're talking about who our moms have seen, my mom used to work in a clothing store and was once visited by Alice Cooper. Apparently he was one of the nicest and most humble musicians she ever met - and considering what I've heard about him, that definitely tracks

Rats most underrated tones' song eva. Such a massive power chord and Chino is off the hook on that song. Weird one but in the best possible way
