Bed is a deceptively weird and somewhat enigmatic slowburner very heavy on quite specific imagery (some cringe, some engaging, some both), No Control is a lazy postgrunge clunker with a whiny self-pitying narration that fits just perfectly with its halfarsed instrumentation. Very different tones; one sounds repetitive because it's understated, the other because it has sod all energy (or anything else tbh) going for it

"lazy postgrunge clunker" nailed it. from the overly simply guitar to jesse's vocals, it sounds like nobody wanted to be there. it's like they just felt that they needed one more song to squeeze onto the album. but, again, the chorus is pretty decent
