Yeah. I'm sick of people acting like I love this album because I'm supposed to. There are a few so called classics I can't stand. I loved this album before I knew there was any hype around it.

Ya'll be trippin' this is one of the best albums ever made (and don't call me an elitist because I

literally just discovered this band two weeks ago)

Well I'm talking about people who get way too into it and are up their own asses from how much they

love it thinking they're really smart and shit

Who are these people in the second part? And who are you to call them fakers/hipsters? Just curious

I don't want to be lumped in with the people who say they love classic albums like this to feel like they're better than others without truly loving the music just for themselves, it's that sort of fakeness and weakness among music fans that I can't stand and that I don't want to be mistaken for myself.

Not implying that anyone in this thread is like this, but the presumptuously judgemental culture of elitism on this website is toxic, and at times, overwhelming. Anyone who is shallow enough to pigeonhole a person based on their music tastes is pretty much not worth a minute of your time.

Okay, but it's kinda interesting that you even care about such validation

Seek shrink immidiately.

In any case, this is an album that the majority of the site likes, and tons of people around the world like. Dunno how liking or disliking it can make anyone more elite.
