Idk psychedelics definitely caused some long term changes in my perspective and the way I feel about certain things that never really went away. I think there are definitely some lasting benefits for me but agree that some people exaggerate it too much. It also made me like Boards of Canada

I've had some wickedly bad experiences with high doses of weed that make me very hesitant to try anything stronger. Having a bad anxiety attack on acid or shrooms must be awful

When my friend and I did acid in March my friend started coughing a bit and his dipshit roommate started yelling about how he'd better not have covid because he's immunocompromised, and my friend pretty much immediately spiraled into a bad trip for the next ~4 hours that left him really shaken up. Like personally I love psychs but it’s 1000% something you've gotta be careful with and make sure you're in a safe chill place if you're gonna do it
