Agreed with Veks. I listen to my favourite albums pretty rarely mostly out of fear I won't feel the same way about them again and again lol

I've been listening to it at least once a day since it came out and I still love it so much lmao. I might need to give it a small break

Good thing about Deftones is that I only need a break from one album of theirs and not from the band self. Normally when I take a break, it’s from an artist in general.

doing a discog run (minus adrenaline/gore and plus team sleep) on acid tomorrow after having given them a break for a week after looping the shit out of their stuff expecting wonderful results

I know this isn’t really my type of music, but I feel like even if it were it wouldn’t be a good vibe on acid

I've never dropped acid before, but my friend was ranting and raving to me at work saying it changed his life and his anxiety practically melted away after the first trip. Almost like a whole new perspective on everything.

Need some confirmation on that, cause I kinda wanna try some psychedelics to take the edge off. Weed was cool for a good chunk of my teen life but idk... it just ain't fun anymore.

Sounds like he probably didn't have a real anxiety disorder to begin with

Honestly, that's what I thought. It doesn't just disappear unfortunately. I envy people who can keep their anxiety at bay.

There are studies that suggest micro dosing acid on a long term basis can help with depression etc but doing acid once isnt going to cure your mental health issues and change your entire life forever. it also has diminishing returns in that regard.

Like sure the first few times doing acid as an impressionable teen I felt like I was having life changing epiphanies left right and centre but at a certain point its just a drug. I would love to be that impressionable again and experience psychedelics for the first time but its really not this crazy catalyst to enlightenment like some people like to make it out.

some people have anxiety so bad that they can't even cope with relationships, so

they take all their fears and problems with them out to sea, literally or metaphorically

they fancy themselves adventurers or fisherman (backpackers or hobos), in any case, mostly just escaping the noise of confrontation

the inescapable fate of reality

the problem is they headed out to sea looking for something that no one can ever find, because as soon as you find it, it's gone

but hopefully you find nakama as you go along your travels, perhaps someone to cook for you, to navigate your dreams and desires, or someone to just carry three swords that will cast all fears aside

if you want it, you can have it. he left it all in that place! but the adventure was the treasure all along, ONE PIECE!

Ty for the lesson Potsy. Might try micro dosing just to see if I even gain anything from it. "Life changing epiphanies" is the phrase I was lookin for. Exactly how he worded it, problems that bothered him before like with girls and his future career just seemed to ease up and he didn't let it get to him anymore.

yee wwf I guess that's the only way to know for sure lol
