I nabbed the 10,000 Days 2020 remaster from the website you linked, Base. The Fear Inoculum one returned a 404 error, unfortunately. Going to dive into this, though. I'll let you all know how it sounds.
- listening with some Sennhesier earbuds from Vox Flac player on my laptop. Using a flat EQ. Doesn't sound bad at all. I haven't listened to the original in forever, so I'd need to go back and compare for differences. I do remember having to fiddle around with EQs when I listened to this album before to get a sound I wanted. Wish that FI one was still up, that's the remaster I want to hear the most. So many parts of that album feel dull to me. Like the climax in Descending with the gong splash? That never impacts me the way I expect it to.
-nearing the end of Vicarious, and I could pick out some subtleties I didn't hear before. I never noticed the additional whispering voices towards the end of the song, at least not so clearly. Also some parts where the bass was clearer. Yeah, I'm enjoying this remaster so far.

Nah, Vicarious is alright, jambi is flaccid, wings part 1 is pointless, part 2 is boring, the last 1/3 of the pot is good, the rest is cringe, lipan is an interlude, lost keys and rosetta are good, despite having the stupidest lyrics to a crescendo ever, and intension and right and two are great, and viginti tres is pointless. This album shows what happens when nobody compromises and there are too many stupid ego driven ideas.
