OK I mixed them up and forgot at the time which is what. "Pet" is very good. The "The Nurse who Loved Me." Doesn't do anything for me though.

Also "Gravity" is an amazing closer.

As someone who lost their wive('s sanity) to addiction over the last year, this record hits on a very different level now.

Aw sorry to read that Keaton_86. I always think of Gravity as just ascending to a higher plane of existence. I wore A Perfect Circle to church the other day. I just wanted to wear it again as I had it on for a few days.

i love how maynards default go to for lyrical content is being condescending towards people and even suicidal people in the case of the outsider

seems like a bit of an oversimplification

apparently he said that it's supposed to be written from the perspective of someone who doesn't know or understand what self-destructive individual/addict/etc is going through

I think you're completely missing the context, and point, of the entire album.

maybe I'm not depressed enough but this one isn't doing much for me, it pales next to the debut

I mean you could interpret it many ways, but that’s the most face value one. Whether it’s valid or not it’s going to be the main takeaway lol and I love all of Maynard’s projects but he is such an asshole I don’t see why people feel the need to defend him
