I guess my problem is that, aside from the lyrical content, nothing on this album seems necessarily innovative (aside from Venus in Furs and Heroin). Perhaps if it came out before Revolver yeah, but aside from those two songs this just sounds like a good mix of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
lmao. name one pre-this (or even post-this tbh) Beatles/Rolling Stones song that sounds even remotely like "I'm Waiting for the Man" or "The Black Angel's Death Song" or "European Son" I dare you

The singer sounds like hes croaking to death about to drop. The band can't play any melodies, it's all jumbled crap. the drummer is the only halfway decent member. the ''violinist'' in this band should be shot. Dude is a seriously awful player
