thanks, will do. a couple of friends already saw Blood Incantation, said they were crazy loud live but a lot of fun. I didn't really get into their stuff, but sometimes a live show like that makes me want to pay attention to a band's music more.

I've gotten nothing from Mikael that would indicate this being their swan song, but I also wouldn't be terribly surprised.

The album just has so many callbacks to their previous records, both lyrically and sonically. That stood out to me when I heard the Katatonia record and then I started hearing it a lot more with this one, and now with the two of them going on tour again together I've just indulged a bit of a mental spin over it.
