Yeah, love that about them ofc. This scratches that dark angsty post-emo alt/rock itch that has been missing since BN was still a huge band, and joins elite company like TDAG, [Untitlled], Halo of Hurt, Shrine, Black Mile, Vheissu, etc. We shall see where they go next. It may very well be better for other people, but this right here is my white whale. That's why I made it my final review on Sputnik.

My memory is just shit
always love your reviews sowing, hope you get back to it after a break but thanks for all of your insight < 3

v true sowing. always discouraging to rev something and it just starts a thread with zero comments on the rev itself. really rare to see comments actually highlighting reviews and what they liked about it. don't blame you at all.

Thanks. There's always a miniscule chance I'll write again, but...it's time. My heart hasn't been in it for a long time and I was waiting for an album like this to go out on. It's everything I wanted. No regrets. 💙

"Nobody reads reviews or first comments anymore do they?"
Admittedly I did not read the review (yet) and just found out, that doesn't mean I never read reviews mind (because I do if the mood takes / I'm excited for a release!)
It's a shame you're done because the reviews of yours I have read are engaging and informative, but as with all things, if the passion isn't there anymore then it's time
will you still be commenting / moderating?

and as for the album it's holding steady at 'sometimes intriguing / enjoyable and other times not'. A mixed bag for sure

Wondering at what point across Looks Like Nothing, Gratitude, Dead Internet, and Hall of Frozen Heads you had time to get bored during the album's second half.

Foxing (and Smidley, for that matter) have basically mastered the art of completely fucking up my Spotify wrapped late in the year. It’s fucking October and I guarantee you that both of those songs will be in my top five.
