Goddammit this is really great. Really appreciate the vocal range as some death metal vox can rly filter me but this mf spittin. Production is great bass is great writing is great. Just a damn nice album, damn.

I used to make fun of this band so much back in the day, they got me.

the bookends of this record certainly are the best part. Thinking this is closer to a 3.8, and certainly weaker overall than Sun Eater upon repeated listens.

that's the track that stood out to me the most on first listen. That one rules.

finally got around to this. just as good as sun eater, idk which is better. this kind of style of tech death is made for me. great production, varied vocals, fat bass lines, little bit of prog, different style tracks. fun stuff.

Not dissing either album, but this and Sun Eater are basically clones of each other. I'm perfectly content with JFAC staying in this lane and going on "autopilot" for lack of a better term.

yeah i mean i see that. sun eater felt a touch more adventurous, this a bit faster but fundamentally very similar. the bass and davy make this standout to me.

I hate these kind of albums. Sound and riffs are really cool.

But after 5 spins this becomes a complete drag because of the lack of any cohesiveness. No repetition, no build, no development no nothing. Just riff after riff after riff after riff
