"Its just incredible how Dio managed to release 3 classics with 3 different bands. How many other vocalists have achieved the same or a similar feat ?"
not that hard to believe considering it was Dio who made them classics in the first place

Not solely. I like this album more for Iommi (especially his solos) than Dio.

I respect the hell out of the man and of course 'like' him, just never been a massive fan of his.

I have heard most of Dio's albums, and only Angry Machines seems to be a weak link in his career, although it's not quite bad.

every band has a weak link

Agreed. There are 2-3 solo albums of his that don't him me very hard but overall his work is very consistent. Especially when you compare it with other artists that have been around for so long.

Such as Judas Priest with Demolition, ELP with Love Beach, and Yes with Big Generator.

Exactly. Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Uriah Heep have released their fair share of weak albums as well. And even though I'm not trying to begin a Dio/Ozzy comparison for the millionth time on here, I'm not very fond of Ozzy's solo career.

Ozzy's first two solo albums are pretty cool. Dont care for anything after though
