Was at a Misery Signals concert in brooklyn last week and that band END (not The End) was one of the openers and I was like "oh fuck thats the guy" lol (it was Will Putney)

I'll probably change my rating at some point because initially the album floored me as a massive dillinger fan and ETID fan but atm, 30 under 13 (13 going on 30 starring Jennifer Garner) and Sacrificial Participiant are still hitting for me but the rest isn't as much. The greg parts don't hit as hard as they did on dillinger albums and the well... you guys know what I mean. As an optimistic boy tho I think the coming album could be fire. They def got the tools and there's no way I'll dislike it but I do hope for it to be great.

I feel both bands Many eyes and Better lovers will overall be middling because the magic that made ETID and Greg era TDEP was the way they all worked together even if those relationships imploded for various reasons. On paper Better Lovers should slap (idfk whos part of Many eyes) but overall it falls short for me probably due to high expectations, but everythings just felt like okay metalcore. No infectious ETID chorus, no dillinger spastic riffs or melodies.

4. Third
5. Harbinger
6. Speechless
7. Servant

Would be so funny if both bands dropped on the same day lol unfortunately the rivalry isn't THAT spicy. I'll give it a shot but can't say I'm too hyped about it.

I’m hyped for Better Lovers, I loved this EP but that new single just did absolutely nothing for me.
Same boat as Jay as far as many eyes goes. I’ll definitely give it a listen but I am not expecting much.
They’re playing a record release show here in STL so I’ll probably go to that because I miss my dad keith

a lot of the many eyes songs I've seen live versions of on yt seem superior to the singles tbh but not by much. Harbinger is ass

Ironically with BE having this EP, we’re all gonna go in wanting something great and probs get let down and then go in on Many Eyes and be like huh…. This is alright lol
