immo is better
Immolation has a bigger body of marvellous work than death. If you ask this guy Death only put out three really amazing albums, and immo has at least six. I also generally find Immo infinitely more badass than death which counts as a double-XP multiplier in the dm world.

Immo's far more consistent than Death. They never pulled an abomination like TSOP.

Immolation is more consistent but the quality has never been as high as Death's highs and their style changed once in thirty years.

TSOP aint any worse than say.. Harnessing Ruin. But seriously what fckn dm band would actually cover a judas priest song and put it on an original pressing. Thats just embarrassing on so many levels it makes me wanna cry.
