"Oh and Varials, so it’s gonna be a “have two beers and leave before the headliners go on” kind of show"

Second listen, it's good stuff but I don't think I want to rate this higher than a 3.5
In other words, this doesn't reach the same heights as DEP but it's a fun listen

honestly might sound crazy but i'm not sure i enjoy any dillinger album as much as this front to back. mayyyyybe option paralysis
all their albums have certain weakpoints in the tracklist that this album simply doesn't

This itches the Dillinger scratch, As i doubt they will be returning anytime soon. I think one of the reasons this album is so damn good is because its short. The album doesnt overstay its welcome, theres no filler tracks, its just tight and well executed

big agree with this being tight as fuck. 8 jam packed tracks that just kinda go by. honestly very commendable
seeing them in 2 weeks! my old pal from high school is doing sound for them and i haven't seen them in person since like 2015???? so fucking excited

Killer set last night. Just all around a bunch of fun. The guys did not take themselves seriously at all but the playing was still tight as fuck.
Oh and they randomly busted out that “Won’t you be my friend” breakdown and I nearly pissed myself laughing.

I know I’ve seen a few comparisons to Dillinger, but do more than a few people think that they’re basically the second coming?
That comment that said this is “Dillinger for zoomers” is so fucking spot on to me. There are obv plenty of mathcore bands, but imo very few balance melody and intensity like Dillinger did, especially on their records with Greg. But I think these guys pull it off nearly flawlessly. Title Track is basically a testament to that. You have some very catchy hooks and random bursts of insanity that somehow manage to not feel out of place at all.
Seeing them live really made it all click for me.

I'm always blown away when I return to this album. I'd go as far as to call it 2022's most creative metalcore/mathcore record. Nice to finally see a band that can hoist up TDEP's torch going forward
