Spearmint Revolt's bridge at 1:48 is one of my favorites things about 2022

I saw NJ last night on their headlining tour. Man, I have so much respect for everyone who has played in this band and kept the music coming over the past twenty years. Their live show is still chaotic and relentless. I really believe NJ's reputation will only grow once they hang it up.

It’s cause this had 0 lasting power for many lol. I should revisit though to see if I feel differently on anything now

Audiotree just dropped with Spearmint Revolt, Grand Scheme, Falling From the Sky, and Reaction. As much as a douchebag Cory is, he’s still got it at damn near 50. The man sounds great. And whoever is in the band at this point all killed it. Great little set. Makes me wanna revisit this because I remember it feeling so redundant of everything post Wrongdoers, I haven’t jammed this since it dropped basically

I think everything you just said is valid lol. He sounds great, this felt like a rehash, etc

However, with a catalog as fat as theirs the 4 they chose for Audiotree was weak imho

Yeah, definitely not a strong set of tracks considering what is in their catalogue.

A Small Spark Vs a Great Forest would’ve been a better pull than Grand Schemes tbh, and ya Reaction is such a weird track to play from that record, I haven’t jammed it in years but something like Andromeda or Synthetic Sun would’ve been a lot cooler, and absolutely nothing from Wrongdoers smh. Performance wise it was on point was more what I was saying

But real talk… can we get a fuckin redeemer 20th anniversary tour? Please?

This is a letdown for me. First NJ album I've rated below a 3.5.
