Staley's coaching remains an anchor that will ensure this team never sniffs a Superbowl ring, that's just the reality of it. He went from too aggressive to too conservative, then went tempo at the worst possible moment when his receiver is begging to get pulled.

@Vult wow that sounds like an incredible weekend. Hope you enjoyed Rolo/Callous Daoboys and have a good time at Enter Shikari tomorrow!

@Mars wow they most definitely Chargered. Terrible decision-making by the coach. Justin Herbert is an absolute stud though, I hope he’s okay.

Might be a ribs issue, could be out for a handful of weeks if it's serious.

Why do people keep bringing up that dgd band? This is a football thread.

Anyway, Mars, how you feeling about Monday?

Feeling like we will randomly play well because that is the Titans' Way(tm) when we are universally picked against. That being said, I fully expect us to get demolished unless our offensive playcalling demonstrates somewhat of a pulse and gets our playmakers involved. Our passing game needs to have Hooper, Woods, Philips etc. on multiple snaps, not subbed out for Geoff Goddamn Swain.

Alright well at least you have some good feeling about the game. I’m hoping you guys get the W tbh.

Update on Herbert: He’s day to day. Fractured rib cartilage, which honestly I didn’t even know cartilage on your ribs was a thing.

Two questions: Has anyone read up on the deal with the Phoenix Suns owner (Rob Sarver)? I know this is a football thread but I haven’t had the energy to read up on it. Also, does anyone think there’s any actual credence to the media storm concerning Tom Brady and Gisele?

First I'm hearing about it but she is 1000000% justified in being pissed off at him for his decision, if I was in her position I would have dumped his ass after he IMMEDIATELY unretired lol

Yeah. I feel like there’s too much noise about it for there not to be SOME truth to it, but I can’t imagine it’s as bad as the worst kind of tabloid news.

Idk, something about the whole thing of Brady coming out of his sabbatical (can’t really call 40 days a retirement) was a bit forced/off to me. Whatever… he’s probably still gonna go to the playoffs/win the super bowl so not that it really matters.

The lead guy of Callous Daoboys does give me massive Jon Mess vibes but I’m all for it because they write more compelling music and they respect women and have women in the band. That’s far superior to DGD behavior especially recently.

Vult! This is the football thread… Dgd doesn’t exist, remember?

P.S. How was your epic-weekend show bonanza?

Was fun! Both shows slayed, however some dude was going way too hard during Rolo and punched me in the back of the head while he was hardcore dancing. Fuck hardcore dancers. Moshing and getting rough is totally cool but once you start swinging you’re a tool.

Enter Shikari show was fucking sick, super small show of ~150 ppl and Rou and Chris came into the middle of the crowd and moshed with us for the entirety of Arguing w/ Thermometers. They’ve never played CT besides Warped so it’s been a long time coming.

It’s wild that they can play massive EU fests and then play small ballrooms in NA. Super intimate and fun show!

If I hadn’t done the slog of going into NYC on Thursday I’d consider going to the Brooklyn show tonight but fuck driving into NYC.

Damn dude that sounds like such a good time. I haven’t been to a metal show since like… 2009 when I last went to Warped. I would have loooooved that Enter Shikari show. I saw both Haste the Day and Escape the Fate in that kind of setting and it was such a good time.

And I’ve done the drive from New Haven to NYC and it was a terrible experience. There are two places I refuse to drive: NYC and Tel-Aviv, and I’m a dyed in the wool LA driver.

Yeah I hate to be that guy but I'm not a fan of when people just start straight up throwing punches lol, it immediately kills the mood.
