Prisoner was a nice stylistic change but idk it gets a bit flat about halfway through. I dig their songs more in the vein of lyrics lie, reminds me of IG and I really can get behind the songs where Tillian screams. I find his falsettos in prisoner a bit annoying tbh.

I've never liked Tilian with DGD outside of a few songs but he's almost unbearable on the first half of this album. He has no restraint in going full chipmunk.

That said, the second half of this album is way better in pretty much every aspect IMO. Born to Fail and Nothing Shameful are great.

This band and record has me really confused because some of the stuff they do flat out completely sucks, but some of the stuff they do is absolutely amazing.

I think part of it is that they've spit out 5 albums in 7 years and they're stretched a little thin instead of saving their best songs for one album and doing something every 3 years or so. Then there's all the side projects the guys in the band have worked on over the past several years. Maybe they're desaturating their DGD material too much.

yeah I could agree with that to me this has a lot of filler moments with a handful of really solid songs

i'm starting to realize this album has a major issue with keeping a consistent feeling throughout a song, like they were never good at that to begin with but hot damn. there's no flow at all.

I think this is the worst DGD album thus far. Didn’t think Happiness would move from that spot but alas.

This is probably the worst album I've heard since Green Day's last album. Actually gives me a similar sort of vibe

My score woukd like drop if I spun this again, but I haven't touched this (aside from 3 tracks) since release week and I have no intent on changing that. Have heard Three Wishes and the spanish track on some of my friends' playlists a few more times and I just dislike them even more now
