They never did this style after this record right? I've never listened to the other albums but from what I've heard they are more in a progressive style and take incorporate those controversial clean vocals. At least i didn't like the ones i skimmed through on their last album

this album is fucking nuts man haha. this is basically death metal! reminds me a ton of hell awaits. this is a riff monster, the palm muted ones go so hard. drumming is amazing. plus i can't believe i'm finding out one by metallica was aped from this haha. not really what i was looking for but i forgive you because this just rips. what a relentless ass beater. heavy as fuck.

it's kinda impossible to rec "something like megadeth" cuz they are just in their own fuckin universe with their first 4 LPs
i changed my comment to just be necromantic forces cuz their latest LP is like maybe the best catchiest thrash guitar work in the genre since RIP. big statement i know
