finally got around to hearing Mass III and yeah it was pummeling yet poignant. glad i finally fuckin listened to these guys and i expect plenty more spins in future

Got roped in with Solitary Reign (I know, I know, I'm a noob) but stayed for the rest and this is incredible all the way through. Only gripe I have is it would be nice to see a bit of variety in the vocal delivery, but that's just me.

And on the new one Colin sounds even more desperate then before in parts. I think this is the first record where one of the guitarists is actually tracked for vocals (the lows in A solitary reign). Vocal variety isnt one of the things about Amenra, Colins delivery of his vocals however is one of the key things, his desperate pained shrieks combined with their ability of emotional atmosphere and cartharsis is the central thing. Together they create a very unique experience and a very immense live performance.

I feel like the clean singing is a little over produced in parts but he sounds great on this either way. I like the trades on the new one between Colin and Caro a lot though.
