"rich tea fingers are a shitty version of a proper biscuit so it better not be that flowery patterned bullshit and be a proper one"

This isn't comprehensible in American English.

Basically dunking any other biscuits into tea but rich tea biscuits means you drink congealed wet soggy biscuit lumps in your tea which isn't okay because you get all this crud left after you drink it and the dregs are the best bit so if you're going to dunk you need a rich tea but they come in a round biscuit but it doesn't fully fit into a normal sized mug it's too wide so they came up with a crap version that's long and thin with a fancy pattern on it so you can dunk effectively but it's pretty much giving up so only old people buy them who can't snap a biscuit in half because they have brittle bones or something

"'of course he likes Nirvana, the ultimate poser band'

Opinions like these are why you can't trust people"

Except Nirvana are seen as paragons of authenticity, so people regardless of personal enjoyment of the music adopt the aesthetic under the guise of being authentic. The stereotype of Nirvana being a poser's band exists for a reason. There are a lot of true fans and shit fans alike

I was on a Wheeler Dealers kick for a while and got obsessed with the word "proper", I love the way it's used

Nirvana fans are posers. If you're 12 and you've never heard any other grunge band, then yeah, Nirvana is your favorite

Pearl Jam fans, Soundgarden fans, Alice in Chains fans, those are the true music fans.

'Pearl Jam fans, Soundgarden fans, Alice in Chains fans, those are the true music fans'.

All great bands but to say that if you prefer Nirvana over them you aren't a true music fan is a bit of a blanket statement. Like Aaron Judge you strike out a lot fam.

I mean I always found Nirvana different from the other grunge bands. They had far more of a sloppy punk vibe that I personally enjoy more than the other "grunge" bands.

Back on topic, this is my favourite brand new and AOTY for me so far.

If you liked Nirvana you dug opiates and cynicism

If you liked Pearl Jam you dropped acid and wanted to fuck as many hot chicks as possible
