i grew up on hip hop mostly west coast hip hop heard s80 the day it came out loved it haven't loved anything he's done as much as this since then because like i said i have love for the og black hippy sound and this is a bit of a throwback

Section.80 was good but spotty, but GKMC and TPAB I found to be both really enjoyable records and this one isn't a lot different to me in that aspect, apart from the 2 tracks (Love and God) that I didn't really care for. I think Kendrick just kinda wants to make good albums rather than huge conceptual statements, at least for a while. If he still does the latter I think he'd rather wants to do it in songs

Imo Section.80 is much more consistent than GKMC but the former doesn't even reach the highs of the latter
