"Yikes is Bandcamp really at 128" Yeah it's crazy, cause they make you upload your files in WAV, FLAC, etc, and then compress the shoot out of it. I'm guessing they want you to buy it, and it's less work for their servers, but there needs to be a PSA that Bandcamp streams at peasant level quality.

well the album sounds like shit unless you get the vinyl but i imagine the 128 is intolerable – the record doesn't actually have any clipping despite the awful compression.

Yeah 128 is borderline intolerable. If I wasn't so eager to hear this I would just turn it off. Knew I should have just pre-ordered the vinyl.
