Yeah I normally hate it too but I haven't really jammed a dillinger album in like two years and I kinda have started to find their sound grating and not very much fun

Fugue rules [2]

And Miss Machine is way better than Option Paralysis imo. Still can't decide if this is better than that album or not - Miss Machine and this newest one are so close.

It's a dumb title, but the song rules so who cares?

And yeah, honestly I love the first three songs on Option Paralysis but other than that I rarely listen to it.

thats about as logical as saying "who cares if its a bad song, the song title rules!"

That is not equivalent at all. The song is awesome, I don't listen to music for the song titles. Do you?

I checked Fugue and it was one of the worst things I've heard all year I forget who told me to check it but I'm not sure why they thought I'd like that

I listen to music for an over-all positive experience where every aspect matters and i don't blindly ignore flaws

But I didn't deny the flaw. I agreed with you, it just isn't something that bothers me.

I've gone back and forth a lot on OP over the years. At the end of the day about half the tracks are still great, while the rest have grown off me. I don't love the overall direction they chose for that album, but it's still pretty well executed. Better than Killer for sure, which I don't enjoy at all. I think they saw diminishing returns with each album after Miss Machine, until this one, which is probably in the middle of the pack.

im just saying you can make these kinds of rationalizations all day but for me an album is a product of completion from the music and lyrics to the art to the titles, it effects the overall experience.

Lyrics are a bit more important to me than song titles themselves. I'm honestly a little taken aback that I have to explain to someone why the music is more important to me than a song title. You sound like a fun person.
