After a few listens I genuinely quite like this, aside from the harsh vocals

The title track is awesome.

I know this thing is only slightly metal and that this is about as "indie" as anything remotely metal-related can get but even still the fact that I like it as much as I do is making me question some of my general assumptions.

Like, after several listens the harsh vocals on some songs don't even bother me that much.

What is wrong with me?

Yes Lucca YES.

Boney, same happened to me man, not a fun of black metal harsh vocals but things like this or Oathbreaker doesn't bother me at all.

Dewinged it's probably even more remarkable for me because I usually don't touch anything even remotely metal with a ten-foot pole. Will this change that? Time will tell...

Loving it, Boney. The harsh vox are tasteful and reserved.

Update: Just tried listening to a Demilich song and couldn't make it past a minute. Whew, I guess my ears aren't broken after all.

Yeah that's what I figured Talons, admittedly it's not *that* surprising I like this given that there's heavy shoegaze/post-rock influences.
