"Probably one of the best modern metal singers around tbh."

Ruin is their best so definitely get onto that.

Might just do that. I have heard this one I just haven't listened to it closely enough to rate it.

Tbh everything up until Daybreaker is worth checking out.
Even TH&N was a weird/good change in style for them, although I seem to be in the minority with that one.

TH&N wasn't really that bad like some make it out to be, it was just super out of character for them after Hollow Crown which went pretty hard, can see why people were put off by it though

Title track from the new album slaps like a motherfucker.
Sam is slowly becoming one of my favorite vocalists, he really runs the extra mile for each of these new tracks.

new album is a beast, easily their best since Hollow Crown

Yup, it's almost on par with that one.

Holy Hell is probably the first step back I've seen this band take, imho. Maybe I need to let it grow on me.

Personal ranking:
AOGHAU > LF//LT > Daybreaker > Holy Hell > TH&N > Hollow Crown
Haven't heard the first two.

I think it's pretty easily a huge step forward

Hollow Crown last? No way man that's easily their best for me but different eras of Architects I guess

dang that's a terrible ranking

Modern Misery and Doomsday are the only tracks I have above a 4 on RYM.

Nobody said I was good at ranking albums. After all, I started a massive shitfire after I had the audacity to put Axe to Fall on the bottom of a Converge ranked list. Beautiful irony was someone who had ATF at a 3 saying it should be a crime to have it on the bottom...I have it at a 3.5, fam.

Everyone has different rankings for these guys, testament to them if anything.

Makes sense.

Putting THAN above any of their other albums, especially Hollow Crown, is... surprising.

Agreed. THAN was such a weak follow up to Hollow Crown; I might have even enjoyed it a bit more had it not IMMEDIATELY followed HC. But going from tracks like Early Grave and We're All Alone to... well anything on THAN aside from when Dilinger dude steps in... just brutal.
