Don't listen to much metal or prog (and don't like alot of what I've heard from Opeth in general), but this is a really tight record. I think the softer songs are some of the best parts, Mikael has a beautiful singing voice.
Nothing stands out, but there is nothing bad. Best listened to in one sitting, the talent level is through the roof.
