Do you really think nobody got offended at the name when the terrorist organization popped up? Do you really think nobody asked them to change it because of it?
I don't see a difference between the events other than the circumstances causing the events. Bottom line is, this band completely changed names, Isis simply made one small edit while keeping the original intact. No matter how it is, I will never not feel the name change was anything other than a cop out.

i mean i dont doubt ppl got offended, a lot of ppl are stupid what can u say. how do u get offended at a band, who 1.) whose existence preceded the terrorist group and 2.) not even named after them, but the greek goddess instead (see 1 for why they couldnt have been named after them anyway)
im fairly certain they changed it because they didnt want ppl thinking they were affiliated to the group, or that they were the official fb page for the group or something. not because they offended some ppl who couldnt do some basic research
