When I was listening I was thinking that parts of this reminded me of U2, then I read the review which likened the song I was listening to when that thought came to me, "Take It Back," to U2.

Have never managed to love this album, as much as I've tried. It has its moments, but Jamie is spot on about Gilmour's songwriting. Waters' superior abilities in that department are sorely missed on the last two Floyd albums.



Though The Final Cut is probably the best out of them, none of their last three actually feels like a 'real' Pink Floyd record, though.
