Cockroach King and In Memoriam are just fantastic. Tight performances

Affinity has one of the best Haken moments ever, and I'm talking of course for the dubstep paranoia on the Endless Knot

Affinity is one of their best albums

The entire second half of Affinity is crap imo. Well, "crap" is harsh but it's definitely nowhere near the quality of the first half.
Revisiting Haken's discog now and this is probably still the one I'd consider their strongest overall release. It lacks a satisfying conclusion to me, though.

Same here, first half of Affinity was some prime Haken but the rest was pretty lackluster, although decent songs on their own

Whaaaaa? “Somebody” is a killer conclusion. Some of the best harmonies you’ll hear in a prog song.

I wish I enjoyed this as much as you guys do. But there is still Vector, Visions and Affinity so I'll be fine

Affinity might be my favourite after this one, tbh. It's a huge grower and I love the variety. I remember not liking it much, but I should probably bump my rating. It's so underrated.

I still cant' wrap my head how this album can have four epics in The Mountain, Falling Back to Earth, Pareidolia and Somebody and still leave room for other masterpieces as well.
