barely listened to anything new recently; free time is pretty sparse at the moment and will continue to be. still workin' that job at Nation? friday'll be one year since I left home for Paris. crazy.

Damn it's been that long already? And nah I got rid of that boring job pretty quickly to get back on
my studies + projects left and right with my camera, ain't got much money but things are going really
great

I love how this album really has its own identity among all of the BoC releases, I can't really directly

compare it to any of their other lp's. Nothing is Real feels similar to MHTRTC material, while Semena

Mertvykh could fit nicely in with the rest of Geogaddi imo.

^I feel like all their stuff has its own identity, at least MHTRTC on. That's what makes it so hard for me to pick a favorite since they're all so unique and consistently great

tbh there are several albums that BoC harder and better than BoC did on Tomorrow's Harvest. Horizzzons by Galerie Stratique and Will to Be Well by Dalhous in particular.

its good because it lacks their charm? weak attempt at spinning that into something that works for them tbh man.

i still love this album but that is not why its good. its why its not as good as why their other albums.

not that it lacks it but just as Campfire was different back when it was released, this is another different maturation of their charm

campfire's songs were so layered and detailed and this is so bare and nondescript. do really like a few songs, but most of them sound kind of boring by boc's standards.

that dalhous album might go as hard as this if every song was like function curve or lovers of the highlands but theyre not
