Precambrian is my favorite as its a bit sludgier and much heavier. This album is still amazing but it leans more on the prog side.

I had just presumed these guys were Isis worship. Perhaps the older stuff is but if it's heavier than this it must be pretty dang monolithic

Holy shit those guys were amazing last night.

Sound: So much balls live its actually insane. Crushingly heavy and loud, but with great tone.

Setlist: Great combination of songs from Palegial and Phanerozoic with one from Heliocentric and one from Precambrian.

Presentation: Awesome. The singer jumped from the balcony into the crowd the third song in. Definitely not the shoegazing you see from a lot of sludge/post metal bands, but a very active, energetic band.

All in all, best concert I've been to in about a year.

I missed the first band because they started earlier than stated. Downfall of Gaia was good, but not really my thing to see in a live setting, so I might not be the right person to ask.

they're not my cup of tea at all (so much black metal), but I'm kinda curious how much fun will I have listening to their music live, only blackmetal music ive seen live so far was Ihsahn and Postcards From Arkham during Prog in Park, it was meh

So, they were pretty good. Not the best live concert I've ever been to but a good one nontheless. Setlist was so good tbh. They played hadopelagic, Permian, Silurian, Cambrian, Permian, Firmament, stenian, Bathyalpelagic I and II, ended with (holy shit I so wanted this and I got it) Benthic.

Would go 2nd time, sadly crowd was dead, I was pretty much the only person who held arms high for most of the time

Here's a small pic I snatched during the show: https://imgur.com/ZnxLM5a

Stenian gets so heavy live and Benthic is just such a baller song to end a concert.

The crowd was pretty lively too. Pretty good concert overall.

I'm torn tbh, but I also really need to do their discog in full again to really sort out my opinions.
