the initial excitement for this has worn off for me so it's probably more like a 4 than a 4.5 for me personally

This has worn off for me as well but it's probably a 4.4 or so. A few songs have worn off (Modern Age, Type Three sorta, Other Side) but it also might be not listening to Anberlin after overlistening on vacation

I find Anberlin's songs with the best lasting value are the ones with the best choruses, which Modern Age isn't really up to part on. I still would enjoy it a lot if I heard it, but the chorus makes it so that I don't really want to listen to it. Though talking about it has made me put it on right now
