Holy shit they are playing this, ILAD and LFTL in full in limited cities in 2025. Def gunna see about coping s/t night tickets in NJ. Literally haven’t seen these guys live in 20 years. I imagine Bert can’t scream much anymore but it’ll be incredible to see some of the deep cuts live.

ive heard theyre better than they were back at like the end of the 2010s, where i caught them twice and they were really bad both times, but bert doesnt even do a lot of the live screaming, jeph does (who is really bad at it lmao)

Saw them in 2022 and they weren't very good live but it was fun to hear the songs. Bert's singing was okay and he can't scream at all. He also holds the mic out to have the crowd sing all the best parts of the songs so they don't hit the same. Jeph's screams live are fine but nothing can replace what Bert used to do.
I wish I had some excitement for the albums tour because seeing the self-titled and ILAD in full would be awesome but I know I'd probably be disappointed. That said, it's fun to experience the songs live and Bert brings a lot of energy to his performance.

One of those bands I'm really, really glad I caught a couple times in the moment.
To this day, The Used on the original Taste of Chaos tour is the loudest band I've ever heard, and even for someone who was never the biggest fan, Bert was absolutely captivating and his shrieks were the most insane thing I've ever heard. Like...he was basically the emo Axel Rose back then. Just full on command of the audience, a visceral charisma we're not treated to very often. In fact I struggle to think of who since then even would even rate as close.

I know right!
Now i just realized i dont hear people talk enough about how good of a closing track Pieces Mended is, but then again the album is filled to the brim with great tracks and moments so i guess not every track can be mentioned all the time. Now im talking more about my irl friends because im sure it has been talked about on this thread for sure

pieces mended also big rules yes, i think it gets kinda overshadowed because this is just so dense on bangers but ive always thought it was the perfect closer here, esp its last minute or so

Yeah I don’t think my middle school administration took kindly to the lyrics related to substance abuse lol
Also I’m sure they were very opposed to any song with skramz in it back in 2004
