My dad gave me this album when I was 4 before he left for the Desert. 1990. It has been my favorite thing since however long it took me to understand it. Untouchable.
"eyes of a stranger is one of the best closers i've heard"
That second verse is one of my favorite QR moments.
NO HAPPY ENDING LIKE THEY'VE AGGHGHLLLWAYS PROMISED!

Try to convince me Tate wasn't the best vocalist of the 80's. Dude could fuckin sing like no other.

Rise and save this world.
"Vocals on this are unmatched yeah."
I like his performance on RfO and Warning more. Some say that he is more impassioned in this one and that's fair. But nothing give me shivers like Take Hold of the Flame or Neue Regel.

Disagreed hard. He honed his craft here.

I can respect that.
But my favorite Tate is when he sings pensive stuff like No Sanctuary (the way he says "morning rising" at the beginning gives me shivers) or London. Or how imperious he sounds in songs like The Whisper.

I'd say his vocals are a little more impressive on Warning or Rage for Order range-wise, but he sang with so much fucking conviction on this album. Fucking shame Tate hasn't put out anything worth hearing in 20 years.
