Shit Pika yes hard RIP
First time I ever went to London on my own with my mates was to go see Funeral For A Friend on the Hours tour supported by Bullet For My Valentine who only had their EP and the Four Words Single out, they literally played six songs and left 🤣
So many great gigs at the Astoria but that Truant/Architects show was a five minute walk from my house

My best Architects experience was in Islington just when they dropped HC
They had Mis Sigs and A Textbook Tragedy as support
Tiny venue, but the sound was so fucking good

That sounds sick yeah, I think that was probably their strongest live set. Ruin and HC songs probably with To The Death thrown in as well.
I always love a small venue over a big one for these kind of bands.
I saw BMTH in this shit hole in Kingston supporting fucking Aiden (worst live band I’ve ever seen, dragged into it by friends with terrible taste) but BMTH who hadn’t even released CYB absolutely destroyed that venue. Made me by their EP the next time I got paid!

Good vibes shared of a bygone era for us all now I imagine.
To add my own, I saw these in Manchester while they supported Alexisonfire. JT had just released this and AOF were touring their Watch Out! material. So good.

“I saw them support Truant on this album’s tour pre-Sam when all they had was Nightmares material”
Ayo WTF. That sounds ridiculous

Haha nash that’s a great line up too
Was that bmth on suicide season era? They were fantastic in small venues for the first couple albums. To be fair they’re still great live now I just don’t like their music.
