It's one of my favorite songs, I thought I'd love the cover but it really doesn't do much for me

Yeah I think that cover is amazing. The original is also one of my favourites. I'm glad Anberlin didn't change much and kept the music and instrumentation pretty much the same. Best part is the vocals though, they sound great on that song.
