joy division is better and different sounding yea but this is also amazing

these guys are a watered down joy div but also better in other ways ie production (which is flawless on closer but stinks on UP)

yah dude post-punk revival gave us a lot of shite but also some serious gems

check silent alarm by bloc party

fun fact: joy div is froosh's favourite band and he wore his pants high to be like ian curtis

bp have some similarities to this but are also very english

v good guitar playing and the drumming is sheer insanity

mascis perhaps, in some of the louder bands
