I love their musical parts, but the heavy parts just ruin it. The heavy part about 4 minutes into Lunar Wilderness just sounds so terrible, why would they even include that shit...?

The heavy parts are good as long as there's no wank involved. This album has tons of wank, and I don't just mean because the songs are too long. Long songs aren't a problem unless they're long because of filler (I'm looking at you, Augment of Rebirth). Alaska is the best album ever, and Colors is a small step down. Since then, they've just been sliding down the hill.

Have you listened to "Augment of Rebirth"? They managed to fit more wank in that than in "Swim to the Moon". The polka/animal parts and the second half are great, though.
